Welcome to DogMastery, an established dog training and breeding center, where difficult dogs and puppies are trained by our proven process to become loving, well-behaved companions.

At DogMastery, we train dogs from big to small. We specialize in large, difficult-to-handle “problem” dogs, including those that are overly aggressive, bark excessively, or chew destructively. We also focus on owners looking to make their new family member a better household companion and protector. The goal of our staff is not only to allow you to better enjoy and understand your dog, but to allow your pet to perform out of respect and mutual admiration, and not fear. In addition to dog training and behavior services, DogMastery has been importing and exporting dogs for a select and exclusive clientele, throughout Asia, Europe and the continental United States since 1990.

The owner, Marc Eric James, has been teaching and training dogs involving all facets since his teens. He began as an apprentice with his uncle at the training facility Pro Train, eventually branching off to start his own company. His ideologies on behavior, drives and overall temperament are highly regarded in the field of dog training and have allowed his career to successfully expand over two decades. Over the years, he has implemented programs for law enforcement, home and family protection, Schutzhund, training schools and behavioral programs at county shelters.

The DogMastery programs enable owners to better understand and communicate with their newest family member. Because many of our customers have difficult work schedules, we provide training seven days a week to accommodate you and your dog. We welcome and encourage you to visit a class and speak with those currently enrolled.

We take great pride in covering all aspects of the dog-human bond. Our training methods aren’t strictly food- nor voice-motivated, but rather, they focus on whatever motivation works for the individual or canine. We believe that dogs are similar to people, in that each individual dog holds a unique personality.
