Fully Trained Adults

DogMastery’s fully trained dogs are hand selected out of our small intimate breeding program we started 17 years ago. The dogs entrusted to protect your family come from a long line of competitive working animals with correct structure, temperament and overall disposition. Twenty-one years of experience guide DogMastery in selecting animals that has not only excelled in competitive training competitions, but most importantly have the pack drive and enjoyment for social contact. After selection, the dogs are placed into our formal home and family protection program, where they encounter daily interaction and exposure to real-life situations. I'm very fortunate to reside in a community that allow our animals daily interaction with children and comfortable encounters in high traffic retail areas from the onset. We don't attempt take dogs that compete at an elite level in schutzhund or ring and convert them into family protection dogs. Our dogs truly have a passion for the work but lying by your feet, in front of the fire, is also a favorite past time. We look forward to placing a new member into your home to help keep your family safe.

Litters

DogMastery has two special litters annually from our exclusive adults. Many families prefer a puppy and enjoy the rearing process, particularly in a house full of children. The adults used for our breeding program have been through extensive testing to assure sound character, correct type and solid nerve. We welcome questions regarding our philosophy and enjoy discussing the history of vom Mutigen Zwinger. We have either personally titled or worked the dogs we utilize in our program, usually a minimum of three generations. We are not a puppy factory and truly believe the only way to improve the breed is to incorporate dogs into your lineage that possess exceptional health, work ethic and structure. I believe so strongly in our program that we always keep a minimum of two puppies from each litter. This affords us the opportunity to assess the overall breeding from a professional perspective. These young puppies become our fully trained adults that give your spouse, children and yourself peace of mind that your family is always safe.

Older Puppies

Our older puppies are for families who would like to skip the child rearing process. These young dogs have completed our puppy management course and are ready to enter a formal training program. They have been socialized and introduced to the general public since 8 weeks of age. Each puppy is comfortable in high traffic retail areas, elementary schools and capable of attending all your children’s extra-curricular activities. Our older puppies have been raised with cats, dogs, and livestock. Most importantly, each animal has been raised inside the home with true loving care. Making the transition into your home seamless.

Young Adults

Occasionally we have young adults available. These dogs are ideal for individuals wanting a quality companion that can be incorporated into their life style immediately. Most dogs are between the ages of 12-24 months and have completed puppy management, basic obedience and have been evaluated to enter a more advanced program. These dogs reside inside the home and possesses the disposition to acclimate to any environment or person looking for comfort and safety in their every day life.
